Más de alguno (incluyéndome) evolucionamos del querido Beryl al Compiz Fusion como gestor de ventanas en nuestro sistema linux. Sin embargo, para los que tenemos tarjetas gráficas nvidia es un cacho tener una resolución alta (por ejemplo 1280x1024) porque si abres muchas ventanas, algunas aparecen negras, sin nada en su interior...
Eso en Beryl se soluciona acudiendo al beryl-manager, y escogiendo ciertas opciones... pero, ¿cómo hacemos lo mismo en Compiz Fusion para no tener las ventanas negras?
Tenemos 2 opciones:
1.- Al ejecutar compiz, hay que hacerlo de la siguiente manera:
compiz --replace --indirect-rendering -c emerald
Ojo, la parte final (-c emerald) es sólo si utilizas emerald como decorador de ventanas, si no es así, omítelo.
Este método no lo recomiendo, ya que los gráficos se vuelven lentísimos, el mover ventanas, ver videos y cosas por el estilo se hace leeeeeeeeeeeento.
2.- Al ejecutar compiz, házlo de la siguiente manera:
compiz --replace --force-fglrx -c emerald
Ésta manera de correr compiz la recomiendo, he abierto montones de ventanas y nada de ventanas negras, y mejor aún, el rendimiento gráfico es muy similar al correr compiz de la manera normal.
Si quieres que compiz se ejecute automáticamente con éstos parámetros (en sistemas ubuntu):
Si usas KDE (kubuntu):
En la consola, copia y ejecuta lo siguiente:
kate ~/.kde/Autostart/compiz.sh
Con esto se abrirá el editor de texto "kate", a continuación dentro del fichero, copiemos lo siguiente:
compiz --replace --force-fglrx -c emerald
A continuación, guardamos los cambios, y cerramos el editor.
De vuelta en la consola, haremos lo siguiente:
chmod +x ~/.kde/Autostart/compiz.shCon esto le daremos al archivo recién creado permisos de ejecución, si no lo hacemos, cuando se inicie KDE se abrirá kate con el archivo que editamos... niun brillo no cierto? LOL
Eso sería todo, cuando inicies KDE tendría que ir todo como la seda (copié esa frase del NFSMW el que cacha cacha ahjahahahahah)
Si usas Gnome (ubuntu):
Entra en el menú Sistema, luego a Preferencias y por último a Sesiones. En la sección de Programas de Inicio añadiremos el siguiente comando:
compiz --replace --force-fglrx -c emerald
Y listo, ahí tienes tu Compiz Fusion al inicio de tu sesión
